"coolslideshowsportal.com" is a homage to the spirit of America; an extensive and diverse library of candid videos, photos and early American art portraying everyday Americana.

For 10 years, my partner and I sold cactus at a popular Southern California swap meet. I spoke with more than 1000 people of all nationalities and ethnicities. I learned a lot about cactus in those 10 years, and even more about human behavior, from shoppers and browsers.

Predictably, in Southern California, most vendors were Latino and they played a lot of Mexican music. I started playing country and western music because of the large numbers of ranchers in the area. What I found was that Mexicans were the big C&W music demographic! Later I played other genres of music and eventually, patriotic American music. I gave away FREE 360 Make America Great Again hats; on Holidays I gave away almost 1000 4x6 American stick flags. I was blown away to see entire immigrant families waving my flags AND MARCHING TO THE PATRIOTIC MUSIC!

Before any selling, I would start the day with the National Anthem, followed by John Philip Sousa's "Semper Fi", a really nice YouTube tribute to all the armed forces: Army, Air force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard; and ending with George M. Cohan's "You're a Grand Old Flag".

PATRIOTISM AND LOVE OF AMERICA are alive and well in Southern California!
Despite what pundits, media talking heads, newspaper editors, political activists and professional race-baiters want you to believe, the vast majority of Americans, even in Deep Blue California, are conservative in their everyday lives and love this country -- as do most immigrants, legal or illegal.

The remaining 1 percent of extreme dissidents are going to be unhappy with America, American values and Americans in general -- no matter what. So who cares? I sure as hell don't!

The population of the United States is approximately 342 million as of 2024. I want to connect with ALL the nearly 340 million of us who love America, respect American values and are proud to be Americans. I also want to hear from every one of you INDIVIDUALLY; not 340 million COLLECTIVELY. I want YOUR input here; not mine.

I didn't want to ruin the viewing experience with endless, distracting ads and their privacy-invading marketing cookies. Therefore, I'm publishing the entire website ad-free. Visitors can view all published content, but only registered legitimate members are authorized to upload THEIR content.

At this time, registration is FREE. I'll absorb all publishing, maintenance and administrative costs for one year. If the website generates enough interest to continue, I'll switch to a paid subscription model. If a paid model is adopted, the first-year charter registrants can expect a very significant bonus. My secret at this time!

I did my share for America when I gave away the free American stick flags, the free MAGA hats and played the patriotic music. Now I'm asking viewers to share the financial burden for one year. Until that time donations will be accepted and appreciated.
